1. familiarize yourself and research the issue surrounding the recent Basquiat’s exhibition at the Guggenheim. I would like you to give a summary of what happened in regard to the Guggenheim treating Ch. LaBouvier and give your opinion on the consequences this issue has had or should have? Cite some of the sources/press on this etc. This relates to how relevant Basquiat’s art is for us still today!
Start with telling us who is Chaédria LaBouvier and what happened in the Guggenheim recently in regard to the Basquiat exhibition?

2. As we studied Basquiat, I thought that you may enjoy watching some rare moments in the Documentary called THE RADIANT CHILD from 2010. Please write a paragraph in which you state why it would be good (or not good) to include this documentary among class material.
3. Finally, there is a 1982 interview with Basquiat with Marc Miller and it is worth seeing.. If you are interested, please watch this one too. I have only located parts of it, so I assign it here as an extra effort and NOT as a mandatory assignment.. If you find the full interview (15 min or so) please share the link with me and I will share it with our class?
Again, just a paragraph perhaps pinpointing the most telling moments here which would enrich our class material?
