MODULE 1

Assignment:
1. Define critical thinking. What are the criteria in which it might be evaluated?
2. What are the biases involved in critical thinking? Explain a recent high-profile court case that has had to overcome such biases.
3. What are the components of an argument? How do they tie into the two basic types of arguments?
4. Name the four elements that are not IBE. Explain why each cannot be.
5. What are ethos, pathos and logos? Rank them in order from least effective to most effective and provide examples as to why they are ranked that way.
