Answer the following questions which should include specific examples from the movie. Your marks will reflect a good understanding of the concepts of Transactional Analysis: ego states, transactions, strokes, life positions and usages of time.
- Identify one scene from the movie for each ego state: Child-rebellious, Child-natural, Child-adapted, Parent-critical, Parent-nurturing and Adult. For each scene in the movie, explain why you identified the ego state you chose. (12 marks)
- Provide one example of each type of transaction (parallel, crossed, ulterior) from the movie and explain why the examples fit that type of transaction. (6 marks)
- Give two examples from the movie of each type of stroke. Explain your thinking for each and identify the impact of each example on the relationships in the movie. (8 marks)
- Identify characters from the movie that illustrate each life position. What cues are you using to make your decision? (8 marks)
- Give an example from the movie of each Usage of Time. Explain why and how you came to this conclusion. (12 marks)
