• Students will need to identify a social service, program service, or intervention focusing on an individual, group, organization, or community, including a description of the client served (remember that a client could be an individual, group, community, etc.). • Student will describe the social service, program service, or intervention going into to specific detail about the intervention, discussing the evidence, fidelity, and logic of the intervention for the client (whether it be an individual, group, organization or community). Student must present a compelling case why the intervention is a logical fit discussing cultural sensitivity and developmental appropriateness. • Student will then create a hypothetical plan for evaluation of such a program, service, or intervention, describing the following: • Ethics (*please note you must use the most current Code of Ethics -2017) • A description of the ethics and values that must inform the process • Informed consent process • Methodology • Methodology (qualitative, quantitative, or mixed) • Evaluation Design (for example, quasi-experimental, single-subject case design, etc.) • Process of data collection • Instrumentation • Description of the instrument used • Type of measurement (survey, interview, observation, etc.) • Levels of measurement (nominal, ordinal, etc.) • Alignment with evaluation design (does the instrument make sense given the evaluation design) • Implications for practice • evidence based practice (how will data discovered inform future practice) • service delivery outcomes (how might data discovered improve or change outcomes)
