Critical Path Assignment- Fall 2020
Critical Paths are done in multiple ways with one main purpose of assessing what tasks are required, when the task timeline is estimated and finally when the task is completed.
It is important to ensure the Critical Path document has an excellent layout, with an engaging formatting scheme to ensure the user does not miss anything.
All submissions must be placed in Dropbox by Wednesday December 2nd, 2020 by 11:59pm.
Critical path is an individual assignment.
Critical Path
Take the storyline you were assigned and start to place the priorities/tasks (in chronological order) in the appropriate months. All critical paths must have a minimum of 4 colours (you may select the colours) represented and a maximum of 6 colours represented on your critical path:
1 for sourcing, 1 for confirming, 1 colour for finalizing, and the last 1 for the Event day. You may decide to place a week prior to the event or day prior to the event or both depending on the scenario/event type
*********************************************************************************
The minimum number of tasks on your critical path must be a minimum of 30 tasks in chronological order and most should be placed into your four criteria topics- sourcing, confirming, finalizing and event date.
The critical path must be in an excel template- this template is available to use in the ecentennial shell next to the assignment in Module 11 with a minimum duration of 8 months of planning and a maximum of one year.
All sequencing items must start at the sourcing process and scaffold to the event day- an 8 month example is indicated in Figure 1.1
