DATA SET: COOP1DATASET.pbix

COOP1DATASET.pbix contains additional columns and measures that are not part of KADO.pbix. See below for an overview of these extensions.

DISPUTED	Calculated Column	An item for which KADO’s quality assessment (category 1,2,3,4, or 5) (assigned QC) and the artist’s quality assessment (claimed QC) are different. Possible values for this field are “YES” or “NO”.
% OF DISPUTED ITEMS	Measure	Percent of items that are disputed.
EXPECTED BUYPRICE	Calculated Field	The price KaDo expects to pay for an item based on its Price Policy.
NUMBER OF DISPUTED ITEMS	Measure	Total number of items that are disputed.
NUMBER OF OUTSTANDING ITEMS	Measure	Total number of items that has been ordered by KaDo but that has not been delivered yet.
TOTAL BUYPRICE DISCREPANCY	Measure	Sum of the differences between the expected buy prices and the actual buy prices of items.

1. Create a dashboard that answers the following two questions:

What is the total number of disputed items?

What is the total number of disputed items per item category?

Your dashboard should look as follows:

Make sure to use the exact same formatting: color of Text box, “NUMBER OF DISPUTED ITEMS” in descending order, borders, etc.

2. Create a dashboard that ranks artists based on percentage (%) of disputed items (descending order).

Include icons using the following rules:

3. Create a dashboard that shows the following information for each of the renowned artists:

The artist’s name

The total prize money earned by the artist

The number of prizes the artist has won

Your dashboard should look as follows:

Make sure to use the exact same formatting: headings, ordered by “total prize money” (descending), border, etc.

4. Create the dashboard below, which shows the following information for each artist:

The artist’s name

The number of outstanding items (length of bar)

Make sure to include the two vertical bars, which indicate:

avoid ordering from artists with 10 or more outstanding items (the red line).

Make sure to use the exact same formatting: titles X-axis and Y-axis, background color, ordered by “number of outstanding items” (descending), border, color vertical lines, etc.

5. Create the dashboard below, which shows the total number of items bought per week.

The chart starts from week six since Kado’s first items were delivered on February 6. The slicer can be used to display, for each week, the number of items bought of a specific item category.

When considering “all items,” your dashboard should look as follows:

Make sure to use the exact same formatting: ordered by “week number” (ascending), borders, line color, display number of items bought, horizontal orientation for slicer, etc.

6. Create the Box and Whisker chart below to explore the differences in revenue generated across product (item) categories and by the different product (item) types within a product category.

Make sure to use the exact same formatting: titles x-axis and y-axis, color data points, color means, border, etc.

You need to add this visual through the access you have been provided by SBA IT.

7. Create a dashboard that answers the following two questions:

What is the total amount Kado owes artists (vendors) (Accounts Payable)?

What is the total amount Kado each artist?

Your dashboard should look as follows:

8. Create a dashboard that shows Revenue ANALYSIS

Using Matrix table (look at the example posted in ilearn) design a dashboard that provides information regarding the profitability of item types (revenue –cost) offered by Coop1. Such information is helpful when making decisions such as:

• What products are profitable
• What categories are profitable
• Should they focus on selling a specific item type or category?

9. Design your own dashboard that answers a question you want to explore in the dataset (you should come with your own question that requires you to create a new measure).
