  • Consult about zero waste hero volunteers (role description, training, management)

  • Set up of zero waste stations
  • Discus the role of Audience Experience Coordinator (AEC)* one person to oversee the zero waste project prior, during and after HGAF (take turns across the course of the festival to be the main go to on site to oversee zero waste project etc.)

Zero waste onsite stations

The Hub

  • Open from 5 – 10pm
  • 2 – 3 zero hero volunteers (1 station)
  • 1 rover (to drift around ask questions

  • 4 – 6 zero hero volunteers (2 per station)

Festival dates

  • Mon 22nd – Fri 26th (5 – 10pm)
  • Sat 27th and Sun 28th (all day)
  • On the festival dates we will need to take shifts at the festival to oversee the Zero waste project
  • We also must collate all our research and solution into a final presentation to present to the HGAF team

So you task is to do the following

  • A list and pricing of zero waste audience consumables which could be marketed at the festival.
  • Create a cost benefit analysis document.

*Weigh up purchasing and outsourcing of consumables (whats more cost effective and what makes less waste)

Source all consumables needed for the festival (including but not limited to, plates, cups, cutlery etc.)
