ENVIRONMENT
In ArchiCAD, complete the following
tasks:
1. Using Polylines and Lines OR
Fills with Outlines, construct the
wall section with all components
illustrated in the example posted
on Blackboard.
2. Provide the appropriate symbol
hatch inside of each element.
3. Insert appropriate text in a leader
text box and place the leader on
the appropriate element in the
section assembly. (see example).
4. Provide dimensions per the
handout. When printed at full
scale, 3/4”=1’-0”, you may use
your scale if you feel you are able
to discern a component size.
5. Roof pitch symbol (6:12 pitch
roof)
6. Indicate rough framing symbol hatch (continuous or blocking)
You will create a layout sheet in ArchiCAD using the “D – ARCH103 Architectural sheet” master
sheet. This is an ARCH D (36×24) sheet. Place your wall section detail using ¾” = 1’-0” scale on
the sheet. Then, publish your sheet as a PDF document.
DELIVERABLES:
Please submit your wall section detail both as a PDF and submit your ArchiCAD file as a .pln.
