On Canvas you will find six files, a mix of csv, txt and SAS formatted files. This information has been modified from data sourced from www.ncdc.noaa.gov. The files contain information on storm Events for 2019. See the image on the last page for guidance on the relationship between the tables. A data dictionary has also been provided on Canvas.
Use this information complete the following Tasks using SAS coding, with the goal of exploring the following:
Question: What impact did storm events have in 2019?
To assist you in answering this research question, you will need to complete at least the tasks listed on the following page using SAS code:
- Produce a bar graph that shows the total number of injuries for each month (that allows you to compare direct and indirect) for each month. Ensure the graph is clearly labelled and has an informative title.

- Include any other relevant analysis of this data (only) to assist you to understand the impact storm events had in 2019. Should contain at least one column from each file. Recommended to use as many columns possible.

General requirements. All solutions must be prepared with SAS Code. Units should be converted to metric where used. All outputs need to be clearly labelled and detailed enough to be understood without having to read the main body of the report.
