You have been appointed as the new Network Engineer at SmartIdea. Your first task is to segment your company’s LAN into several VLANs. The new logical network with VLANs is as displayed in Figure 1. The addressing table is displayed in Table 1 and the port assignments for switch S2 and S3 are displayed in Table 2.
Report your configuration (by providing screenshots of all the configurations required in the rubrics) and prove that your configuration is working using Packet Tracer. You are required to submit ONE report and ONE Packet Tracer file of your work.
Perform basic configuration tasks on a switch:
Configure the switches’ hostname as indicated on the topology
Configure an EXEC mode password as class
Configure a password for console connections as cisco
Configure a password for vty connections as cisco
