Individual and Group Project

Individual Projects (20%)

Individual Projects will consist for 2 components:

Case Assignment (10%):  

Starting from Week #4, you will be asked to submit a 2000 words (+/- 10%) write-up on a case analysis. You will be informed of the case assignment by the TA. You can analyze the case in any way you deem fit. You must demonstrate your understanding and ability to apply relevant principles and concepts in the case analysis. Please submit in Words format with a word count via eLearn (Deadline: 2 days before our case discussion in class)

File name: G1/G2_Case name_Student name  Students, who are assigned to do the same case study, will be required to work together on a group presentation (15min) on the case study before our case discussion in class.

Final Reflective ‘Lessons Learnt’ Article (10%):  Towards the end of the course, each student will have to write and submit a ‘Lessons Learnt’ article of 850 words (+/- 10%) with the most relevant learning points by 7 Nov 2025. It is planned to publish these articles provided they are of excellent quality. 

Topics for Group Project (30%)

You will be assigned into project groups by the instructor. If you choose to work with one (1) buddy, please email TA & me the name of your buddy by 24 Aug 2025 (6pm). Otherwise, we will randomly assign you to your project group.

The topics for Group Project will be our class topics from Week 3 to Week 11. Please state your top two preferences (1 from each grouping) and submit them to TA & me by week #2 latest. Our aim is to cover all topics. (Groups of 4-5 students)

Requirement:

  • A 30 minute class presentation, followed by a 15 min Q&A. All groups need to submit the presentation slides to the instructor at least 48 hours in advance.
  • All groups to send their presentation outline to instructor at least 1 week in advance.
  • A listing of reference materials & PDF copies of the materials
