Section 1 Introduction
1.1 What is my degree? How marketable is my degree? See week 4 [You may look
at your specific degree or business degrees in general for your research]
1.2 Placement advert of your preferred company, as approved for you by your
seminar leader; whether you are / are not going on placement
1.3 What skills are you developing that would be enhanced on a placement? [Think
about what you have been doing on your WEA and which talks / training you have
attended lately. Book in through Engage & Screenshot your attendance too.]
Section 2 Employer Branding and Your Professional Brand
2.1 Employer Branding: what does your advert do to position the company? Where
was it advertised? What model of EB will you link to? (P/OF or similar?) What
reference do you have for it? [Use 3rd person, passive voice for an academic written
piece here: it can be seen that….]
2.2 My Professional Brand: what are you doing now to develop your own
professional brand to be attractive to employers? [You may use 1st person: I in 2.2]
Section 3 HR Leadership in Covid-19
3.1 HR Leaders Compared to Leadership Models
Here you will look at two of the HR Leaders’ interviews and referring to at least one
other (of the zoom video interviews), analyse them for the benefits that they have
brought. [What value added have they brought to the organisation?]
3.2 Using models from those taught on the module identify how you see these HR
Leaders fitting with the models you have chosen [e.g. LMX Dansereau et al., (1975;
Gottfredson et al. 2020) & CAL Obolensky, (2010; Edmonstone, 2016). These can
be found in the Assessment folder on the Leadership slides. due in week 7]
3.2 Recommendations for the organisations you have been researching: these can
be anything that you have observed that the organisation would benefit from.
