Assessment instructions 1. Students are required to show their knowledge of the Employee Life Cycle, by researching current practices in each area of their chosen company:
• Recruitment & Selection
• Orientation & Onboarding
• Employee Services
• Talent Development & Retention
• Performance Management
• Transition
2. Choose one of the companies listed below:
• Hospitality/tourism (Qantas / Accor / Singapore Airlines)
• Events (Staging Connections / Reed Exhibitions)
• Sport (Fitness First / AFL Australia)
• Business (Google / Woolworths / CBRE)
3. In a business style report, research each stage of the Employee Life Cycle outlining how the chosen company addresses each stage.
4. Based on your findings, make two recommendations on how your chosen company can improve their HR processes in order to become/remain an employer of choice.
5. A minimum of 6 references should be used for a Pass grade in this section of the assessment.
6. Submit the report through Turnitin
