Section C – Instructions to students
Task instructions: Students will use a clinical scenario in the form of a written individual’s medical history to answer this assessment The assessment is a booklet uploaded to Bright space Answers to the assessment will be in the form of short answer questions and can be answered in the booklet In the clinical scenario the individual has just been discharged from a sub-acute care facility and is now to be admitted to a Home Nursing Service, for ongoing nursing care. The Enrolled Nurse will prepare to visit the individual in their home under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Section D – Conditions for assessment
Conditions: Student to complete and attach Assessment Submission Cover Sheet to the completed Assessment Task. This is an individual assessment It is an open book assessment to be completed by the student throughout the unit and submitted one (1) week after Tutorial eight (8) The student marking guide is at the back of this booklet Students must meet all criteria listed in the marking guide and pass their final clinical placement to be deemed satisfactory in this assessment before a grade is given Students must answer all questions correctly in order to pass this assessment A resubmission may be allowed as per the information in the Holmesglen student handbook This assessment is worth 70% of the final grade for this unit.
