Introduction Of Case Scenario:
Playgroup Sunshine is a safe and nurturing space for babies and toddlers to come to gather once a week to play and learn. Over time, more and more children want to attend Playgroup Sunshine. The playgroup’s Contact Person (CP), Rebecca Taylor, manages all matters related to the playgroup with the Excel spreadsheet and pen and pencil. This way is very time consuming, bears the potential for mistakes and errors, and limits the possibility for others to get involved. Hence, Rebecca would like to have a digital solution to help her with the management of the playgroup. However, the focus of the assignment is on the weekly playgroup sessions.
After consulting with the ‘mother’ organization, Playgroup Queensland, which is responsible for all Queensland based playgroups, Rebecca decided to hire the IT consulting company Blue Ocean to create the digital solution.
Michael Young, the Business Analyst from Blue Ocean, is tasked with the design of the system, and you are working together with him. The consulting work states that Blue Ocean would capture the requirements, processes, and data needs in a comprehensive UML 2.5 portfolio that includes five types of UML diagrams. Michael has used the software Enterprise Architect (EA) from the company Sparx Systems for drawing the UML diagrams in the past, and Rebecca supports his decision also to use EA this time.
Instruction:
1) you must use the software Enterprise Architect to create the different UML diagrams.
2) assignments with watermarks are allowed.
3) you must submit a UML 2.5 portfolio that as the main file – a word document where the different UML diagrams are copied in.
4) you must also submit a SINGLE Enterprise Architect file that contains FIVE UML 2.5 diagrams you created. Do not submit diagrams another student created because this is a case of student misconduct and will be dealt with according to UQ policies.
