Choose two research papers related to teaching and/or learning in your subject area (behaviour management).
A) Analyse the methods used in carrying out the research including your views on the suitability of the method(s), the ability of the methods to meet the research goal and the data collection instruments.
B) identify and describe the strengths and weaknesses of the method(s) as used in the research. This needs to include an analyse of the method(s) used to carry out the research eg quantitative, qualitative, statistics etc. Identify strengths and weaknesses and if they answer the question in hand.
C) outline the possible implications of the findings for teaching and learning in your subject specialist area (foundation learning). This needs to include how the findings from the research could be applied to my own practice or if there are findings that wouldn’t work for me in practice.
