Due to COVID-19, instead of leaving your home, you can choose to observe and analyze your favorite
relationship pair from a movie or show.
In order to write this essay, you are required to observe people’s nonverbal and verbal behavior as you are out
and about (ex. on campus, at the grocery store, at work). After you have observed the verbal and nonverbal
messages. You will be responsible for constructing a 2-3 page paper discussing the responses to the questions
listed below. Please make sure that your paper is written professionally with complete sentences and proper
grammar. Remember, your paper needs to be typed, Times New Roman 12 point font, double spaced with 1”
margins. DO NOT USE REFERENCES IN THIS PARTICULAR PAPER! (50 pts.)
What interesting nonverbals did you see, smell, feel, hear when you were observing? (Use proper terminology

Given that you observed both, verbal and nonverbal communication, what would happen if we were only
allowed to communicate through verbal OR nonverbal means?
