MAMC01803 Level 8 Analytics for Managers Assessment 2 Analysis Report
| Level: | 8 |
MAMC01803 Assessment Overview
This is the second of two assessments for this course. For this assessment, you will complete an analysis report that critically frames data, applies data-driven techniques, and evaluates the results to justify recommendations for management decision-making in an organization.
Conditions Of Assessment
This is an individual assessment that you will complete in your learner-managed time, however, your teacher will provide opportunities during class time for clarification, guidance, collaborative working opportunities, and group discussion. All work must be completely your own and all literature used must be referenced appropriately using APA 7th edition. In order to pass this course, you must achieve a cumulative grade of at least 50%, across assessments one and two.
Learning Outcome(S) Assessed
- Critically frame data problems in a variety of business contexts.
- Critically apply appropriate data driven techniques to address business problems.
- Critically evaluate data to justify recommendations to an organisation.
Reassessment/Resubmission/Extensions
Please see your course outline for guidelines around reassessment, resubmission, and extensions.
Instructions
In preparation for this task, you need to choose a data set from the source recommended by your teacher. You should have your source approved by your teacher to ensure that it gives you sufficient scope to meet the requirements of this assessment.
Using this data, you will produce a written analysis report that:
- Critically frames the selected data to address problems in a variety of managerial decision-making contexts in an organisation.
- Critically discusses potential data-driven techniques and justifies their application to fit the identified problems.
- Applies the selected techniques to generate analysis results for the specified problems.
- Critically justify the results to provide and support recommendations that address the selected managerial decision-making problems.
