Based on what you have learned so far, create a PowerPoint presentation that addresses each of the following points/questions. Be sure to completely answer all the questions for each bullet point. Use clear headings that allow your professor to know which bullet you are addressing on the slides in your presentation. Support your content with at least four (4) sources throughout your presentation. Make sure to reference the citations using the APA writing style for the presentation. Include a slide for your references at the end. Follow best practices for PowerPoint presentations related to text size, color, images, effects, wordiness, and multimedia enhancements. Review the rubric criteria for this assignment.

Cultural competence is an essential skill for healthcare workers. Cultural competence is a continuous process of cultural awareness, knowledge, interaction, and sensitivity among caregivers. Cultural competence is a continuous learning process. For this week’s assignment, you will develop a 20-22 slide narrated (recorded) PowerPoint addressing cultural competence as it applies to your role in nursing and your DNP project. Research topics on diversity, equity, and inclusion from the readings in your text and the additional resources provided to address the following:

1.     Title (1 slide)

2.     Briefly define diversity, equity, and inclusion (1 slide)

3.     How are the effects of diversity linked to organizational business performance? (1-2 slides)

4.     How can healthcare organizations demonstrate accountability in building an inclusive, equitable culture? (1-2 slides)

5.     Discuss how culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services (CLAS) standards can be used in health organizations to promote cultural competence. (1-2 slides)

6.     How will CLAS be incorporated into your DNP project? (1 slide)

7.     Using the Diversity, Equity, and Cultural Competency Assessment Tool for Leaders (Exhibit 3-2 in your Borkowski & Meese text), outline three or five interventions your healthcare organization has implemented to advance health equity and culturally competent care. (3 slides)
