The book review design to introduce students to writing, researching, and using historical studies as a methodology research tool to produce a historical academic paper. A book review should be 3 full pages, bibliography in APA or MLA citation format. The book must intersect Black Studies, Africana Studies, African American History, etc.
Define Black literature. Write a book review on any Africana, Black Studies, or cultural stream relating to Black life. For example, you can write on the Autobiography of Malcolm X or on the poetry of Sonia Sanchez. Any book that relates to Black life can be reviewed
