included in your portfolio. The purpose is to explain to a potential employer (or the admissions committee at a
university) the nature of your teaching philosophy. Avoid plagiarism by creating your own statement and not
being influenced by looking online for examples. The paper must be typed using Times New Roman 12-font,
double-spaced. Be sure to have your instructor, an academic coach, your English teacher, or other qualified
