FIN 425 Semester Project Fall 2021 15 % of semester grade

1. Research and discuss a Fintech term or a Fintech company, such as those listed below.
a) Discuss or define the term or talk about the company.
b) Indicate how it affects, or how it is disrupting the finance and banking industry.
c) What are the (future) prospects for this technology or firm?
d) What is its potential role in the industry?
ü Get approval for topic and group members, if wishing to do in a group.
ü You may do these projects individually, or in groups of 2 or 3. To answer your next question, your proposed group of 4 becomes two groups of 2, or a group of 3 and a group of one. Your proposed group of 6 becomes two groups of 3, or 3 groups of 2.
2. Create a brochure, PowerPoint presentation, or video (you can choose a different presentation medium with instructor approval)
ü Submit topic for approval prior to beginning project.
ü Be creative.

3. Present or share project via Adobe Connect or Blackboard.
4. Discuss projects in class discussion.
