For this essay, you will write a collective review of two films representing moments of crisis. One will discuss the October Crisis of 1970, and the other, the Oka Crisis of 1990. You should have a clear thesis, and I expect that you’ll rely on secondary sources (there is no fixed number of sources that you need to draw upon, but roughly 4 or 5 would be a ballpark number). These sources should be cited in footnotes, and you should have a bibliography (and a cover page). Citations and bibliography should be done according to the Chicago Manual of Style, 16th edition.
