I would like you to answer question 6 (see below) on the list of questions which I have attached however if you have a compelling reason to choose another style then send me a message to discuss.
There is no set number of sources as it will differ with each essay question, however our subject co-ordinator has explicitly discussed the differences between a big list and a smart list of sources so just keep that in mind when researching.
The essay is actually 2000 word plus bibliography so please remain within those confines. If you have any questions at all please do not hesitate to ask.
Question 6:
Martin Scorsese’s film Taxi Driver (1976) is one of the most well-known films of the Hollywood Renaissance. Through a close reading of this film discuss how this film differs from and/or shares similarities with the classical Hollywood film and identify the stylistic features of the Hollywood Renaissance. In answering this question you will need to refer to and analyse scenes from Taxi Driver and other films that you discuss.
