In this unit’s discussion form, choose from one of the following three topics, and share your thoughts on your choice of topic with the class. Depending on your choice, you may need to do a little more research about your topic. Option 1: Share with the class something you learned about the northern transmission of Buddhism and select a country (China, Korea, Tibet, Japan, or Vietnam) to research more about Buddhism in that country and share it with the class. Option 2: Share with the class something you learned about the southern transmission of Buddhism and select a country (Sri Lanka, Burma, Cambodia, or Java) to research more about Buddhism in that country and share it with the class. Option 3: Share with the class something you learned about the western transmission of Buddhism and select a country (Either the United States or a European country) to research more about Buddhism in that country and share with the class.
