Assessment 2: Individual Written Report & Oral Presentation (35%)
2 A – Oral Presentation (10%): To be delivered in Weeks 4 – 6
2 B – Written Report (20%): Due Week 7 Word count: 1000-1200words
Students are required to complete both components of the assessment.
Research any two of these developmental theories; compare and contrast by identifying the ways they
are similar and different:
• Erikson’s Psychosocial Theory (chose one stage)
• Bowlby’s Attachment Theory
• Maslow’s Hierarch of Needs
• Bronfenbrenner’s Ecological Theory
Your written report should include at least 5 current (scholarly) journal articles, in addition to any
textbookreferences.The format and requirements of your report will be discussed in greater detail
during tutorials. Adherence to the course formatting guidelines is essential (e.g. spacing, font, cover
sheet, word count).
