• Identify your ‘acre’ on both the original city plan, and an up-to-date plan or aerial view of the city today and graphically document the development of that acre between then and now at (approximately) 50-year intervals (i.e. 1880s, 1930s, 1980s) in a series of figure-ground block plans. • Find and accurately identify at least one (or more) historical images (photos, etchings, lithographs, drawings, paintings, etc.) of the state of development on your acre (buildings, civil works, landscaping or agriculture) at each of the 3 previous stages of development documented in your block plans. • Identify the original owner of the land title to your assigned town acre, and provide a short (100-200 word) statement — if any biographical information can be found — about their role and stature in the new colony • Identify any officially registered historical places that may be situated in/on your town acre, and briefly outline their heritage significance.
