Three studies were conducted looking at the effects of magnesium sulfate to improve survival of a cardiac arrest. Results from the three studies were as follows:
Conduct a meta-analysis to determine the overall effect of magnesium sulfate (MgS04) on survival. Check the Bristow-Day statistic for the homogeneity of the odds ratio, and determine the overall RR and the 95% CI.
