- Create and insert an image or copy of an A3 Report
- Include suggestions for “Future State” for your Supply Chain
- Generate and insert a Gantt Chart into your A3
- Include a Gantt chart that shows action plans/tasks and when they would start and stop
- A template for a Gantt chart is attached to the assignment folder
- Analysis-
- Insert the P&L Report for both runs
- Analyze and compare the performance metrics, particularly costs and carbon emissions
- Use graphs and charts to compare:
- run-to-run
- facility-to-facility
- route-to-route
- product to product
- include a label and explanation for each graph and chart
- Discuss the performance and make conclusions about what elements are better-similar- worse and why this is so.
- Make recommendations about the best way to run this supply chain.
- Extras
- Insert additional charts, graphs images and information that supplements and enhances your report. You can insert them into the body or include them in an appendix. Explain why you are adding them in. Throwing a bunch of “stuff” into a report with no explanation or reason creates clutter that reduces the quality and impact of your message.

- Filename format: “OPER8080-Simulation 2 Final Report-yourname-date”
- Include a footer with the filename and page number in “pg. x of n” format
- Add notes in the “Comments” field of the Assignment Folder that explain what you are handing in. Include a description of any work that you did not complete and your plans for that work.
- Use of professional formatting and business language is expected throughout the report
- Late assignments will receive a grade of zero
- Alternative arrangements must be accepted by the instructor prior to the submission deadline.
Summary of Assessment Requirements
The OPER8080: Supply Chain Simulation 2 Final Report required students to critically analyze and reflect upon their decision-making in a simulated supply chain environment. The assessment aimed to evaluate students’ understanding of operational efficiency, sustainability, and problem-solving through data interpretation and performance comparison.

- Introduction: Provide a clear overview of the simulation objectives, key activities, and outcomes.
- Summary of Activity and Results: Discuss the major results from all simulation runs, identifying recurring errors in the supply chain and the corrective actions taken.
- A3 Report: Present a visual summary of the project using an A3 format, including a “Future State” proposal for improving the supply chain.
- Gantt Chart: Create a timeline illustrating planned action steps, start and end dates, and the sequence of improvements.
- Analysis Section: Insert and analyze the P&L (Profit & Loss) reports from both simulation runs. Use comparative graphs and charts to evaluate key metrics such as cost efficiency, carbon emissions, facility performance, and product or route efficiency.
- Discussion & Recommendations: Explain why specific performance metrics improved or declined and provide evidence-based recommendations for optimal supply chain operations.
- Extras: Include additional supporting visuals or appendices (charts, graphs, or images) that add analytical value and clarity to the report.
- Formatting & Submission: Follow professional report standards, use clear labeling, and adhere to the submission format requirements.
