What is this assessment task about?This task focuses on your current career goals and aspirations.
This task comprises of product-based assessment methods and direct observation of consultation in a simulated work environment.
It has been designed to evaluate your ability to:

Re-submission opportunitiesYou will be provided feedback on your performance by the Assessor. The feedback will indicate if you have satisfactorily addressed the requirements of each part of this task. If any parts of the task are not satisfactorily completed, the assessor will explain why, and provide you written feedback along with guidance on what you must undertake to demonstrate satisfactory performance. Re-assessment attempt(s) will be arranged at a later time and date. You have the right to appeal the outcome of assessment decisions if you feel that you have been dealt with unfairly or have other appropriate grounds for an appeal. This assessment focuses on your current career goals and aspirations so that you can work on your current competency needs in a real case scenario :
Self-Assess your knowledge and skills (5-6) against competency standards such as enterprise-specific competencies or nationally endorsed units of competency that are relevant to your planned career/the desired role.

Identify your preferred learning style/s.

Meet with two people who are familiar with your work (friends and/or colleagues) and can assess aspects of your professional competency to seek feedback on professional development needs.

Document their feedback in the table provided.
Provide evidence of consultation.

Schedule a brief meeting (5 minutes) with the trainer and assessor in week 4 of class to discuss options to develop skills and knowledge as identified in your self-assessment report and the feedback from friends/colleagues.

The trainer and assessor will validate this brief consultation session and provide feedback on the marking sheet.

If you are absent from class, it is your responsibility to make alternative arrangements with the trainer and assessor to consult on professional development options.
