Part 1:
My name is Joseph Maddox. I am 30 years old with a lovely wife, son, and four dogs. I was medically separated from the Active Duty Air Force earlier this year. Not sure if I got the better end of the deal on that one, but it is what it is. I am currently a full time student at AMU and an intern at a data analytics company. Lucky for me, the internship showed me a career path that I do not want to pursue after finishing my undergrad. I am currently majoring in Cyber Security with the hopes of working for myself at some point or a small business. My latest interest has been messing around with a raspberry pi and all the nifty things it can do. With regards to taking this class, I took the AMU Math 110 course just prior to taking this one. Both I am taking as a requirement for the degree discipline.
As for the Data Analysis ToolPak PDF, the instructions were clear and the install for office 365 was a breeze.
Part 2:
The vehicles I picked for this assignment are the vehicles I have had in my life at one point or dreamed about. The 2013 Tacoma is my current vehicle. At the time I purchased this vehicle I contemplated buying a 2013 Jeep Wrangler. My wife currently owns a 2018 Kia Sportage, however, she has shown interest in trading it in for a new Toyota 4runner. With that, I then began looking at the new 2021 Tacoma because it would be nice to have a updated vehicle. The 2000 Hyundai accent was my first car that I could afford to buy after high school. The Toyota Sienna is the reality of parenthood and I’m looking forward to the day I can drive a van… :/ The 1962 1/2 Ford Mustang and 1976 Porche 911 were the vehicles my parents owned when I was young. Lastly, the 1963 Aston Martin is the car James Bond drove in Golden Eye 007. I don’t think I need to explain this one…
RESPONSE 2:
My name is Christina and I am currently living in Florida. The past 10 years I was living abroad in Greece, but originally I grew up in Maryland. Through the pandemic I have been keeping myself busy with gardening which I have my own oregano, basil, mint, mango, lemon, and I think that’s it (for now)… I am in my last year of earning a bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity. In order to gain the degree one of the classes needed was this one, so that is the reason why I am taking it. A couple facts about me, I used to work for a private company with prosthetics and orthotics but now I am working on base as an analyst. My hobbies consist of being outside whether it’s playing sports or being at the beach. I really like Latin dancing and pickle-ball which both I have recently found them to be my new hobbies in the last year. I have a dog named Bruno who is a German Shepard mix Rottweiler and is 7 years old now. I am definitely an animal lover. The last time I took a math course was probably 10 years ago. I switched paths and for this degree I needed this math course. I have been dreading this class, I saved it for one of the last classes on my list. My goal for this class is to just pass it and get it behind me. Maybe by the end of these 8 weeks I will feel more comfortable about “math”.
As I received the first week’s syllabus and lessons I did review the Data Analysis ToolPak PDF and was able to download it successfully without any issues. Well I hope these next 8 weeks go by fast and we get one step closer to our goals. I look forward to working with everyone.
For this weeks forum I choice to list 10 vehicles that are either electric or hybrid as they are economic and I am interested in buying one in the future.
