For the Assignment2, first look at the README.md file from the template we provided. You will only need to work on the files and directories marked with (*).
• For Task2.1: You need to work on: frontend/src/app.js, frontend/src/client.js, and the files on frontend/src/components for React components to display the notebooks and notes in your website. If you finish lab08, you should able to know how to display notebooks and notes from the database instead of the hardcoded dummy data from frontend/src/reducers/notebooks.js. • For Task2.2: You need to work on the files on frontend/src/components for React components and the files on frontend/src/reducers for Redux reducers(frontend/src/reducers/notebooks.js and frontend/src/reducers/notes.js), so you can create or delete any notebooks or notes. • For Task2.3: You can work on the file frontend/src/styles/main.css to make your website interface pretty. I would say its hard to do the assignment without understanding the structure and connection between React components, Redux store, Rest API and Frontend. So simply looking at the lab08 solution might not sufficient to help you for starting the assignment. Its necessary to finish your lab4 and lab5 to understand React and Redux for building your web application, also lab08 for connecting your web application to your database.
