This assignment is designed to enable you to demonstrate your acquired knowledge, research skills, and close reading, by conducting your own comparative investigation into two contemporary Australian plays.
Task
To complete this task, you need to do three things:
1. Read the text of two plays closely and in detail, looking for evidence for and against Meyrick’s claim as extracted above.
2. Undertake research from peer-reviewed sources about post-millennial Australian drama and its representation of intersectional identities.
3. Combine these two tasks to present an argument in response to Meyrick’s claim.
