Students are to choose one topic that they will research. This topic must pertain specifically to school age children and/or school age classroom. (Topic must be the same with group members). A few examples: Inclusive Environment

1. Students are to choose one topic that they will research. This topic must pertain specifically to school age children and/or school age classroom. (Topic must be the same with group members). A few examples:
   • Inclusive Environment
   • Project Based Approach
   • How to respond to school age temperament
   • Behavior Management

 

2. Your paper should include, but is not limited to:
   • Introduction of topic
   • Affects on children in a school-age before and after school program
   • Affects on school-age classroom
   • Role of the educator

 

3. Length of paper must be approximately 4 – 5 pages, typed, double space, size 12 font, Times New Roman

 

4. When writing your paper, remember to:
   • Be specific (focus on the given subject)
   • Must contain specific, proven research (make sure to cite all sources)
   • Needs to state valid evidence
   • Research is objective and realistic
   • Minimum four valid resources
   • Spell check
   • APA citation (APA how to, found on Seneca website)
