Report 1: Supply Chain in the Real World

Choose at least five articles from reputable news agencies related to topics of Supply Chain Management. These should be about at least five different events, issues, challenges, opportunities, etc. Do further research into the topics of the articles and relate them to your studies in the Supply Chain program at your university or in your course. As part of the report (in addition to relating them to your studies) you will want to include:

1. your reasons for choosing the topics you did

2. why you believe they were reported in the news

3. how they relate to your studies and specifically to which courses they relate

4. how the businesses/countries/people in the article will be impacted by what has been written/happened

5. what you believe are the next things that should happen as a result of the event to either fix the issue or help take advantage of the opportunity. (Justify your positions.)

Deliverable: Written Report, 5 to 10 pages in length
