13BOverview of Assessment The objective of this assessment is for students to more closely examine
how the tourism, hospitality and events industries relate to one another,
in an interdependent manner. This will be done by gathering resources
and creating an annotated bibliography. A bibliography is a list of
citations to resources such as book and articles. An annotated
bibliography not only lists each of the sources but describes or evaluates
them.
The following three sources will be used for this assessment:

For this assessment, you are required to critically review the three
sources. Your critical review needs to be conducted in terms of the way
the information provided in each source highlights the way in which the
tourism, hospitality and events industries are related to each other and
are interdependent.
The intended audience for this assessment are your classmates studying
in the first year of the Bachelor of Tourism, Hospitality and Events
Management.
