Nursing practice should be based upon the best available evidence. The purpose of this essay is to demonstrate the importance of using evidence when providing care to older people. Assessment: • Select and analyze a clinical condition, discussed in Theme 1 or Theme 2, which you encounter in your clinical nursing practice and ddetermine if your nursing practice is evidence-based, using current literature to inform your analysis. • Evaluate the nursing practices pertaining to this clinical condition which are evident in your workplace and discuss the pertinent ethical considerations associated with those practices
