Overview
Students will be given a Theme and Topic areas relating to current, real-world, strategic events happening around the globe. In groups, students will research their given topic(s) with the goal of creating a 45-60 minute presentation at the end of the module. ALL INFORMATION MUST BE UNCLASSIFIED.

PART I – Where to begin; research on current state of Provided Theme and Topic(s) and use the following as a guide:
- How does your Theme and Topic(s) affect the United States from the standpoint of the following:
- National SecurityStrategy,
- National DefenseStrategy,
- National MilitaryStrategy,
- National Cyber Strategy, and
- National SpaceStrategy
- What policy, strategy and doctrine currently exists that impact yourtopic(s)?
- Which Non-Governmental Organization(s) and/or Intergovernmental Organization(s)have potential to be involved in the topicarea(s)?
- What other stakeholders are involved in implementing policy, strategy, or doctrine thataddress your topicarea(s)?
- Which Instruments of National Power are appropriate and would you leverage to address your assigned topicarea(s)?
Which COCOMs are impacted by your given events/topics? Why?
