Keep in mind, the purposes of your reviewing the article include identifying the arguments and social facts and thinking about your ideas with regard to how to analyze the text. Then imagine yourself as a functionalist and a conflict theorist to convey your argument(s). You should explain clearly (1) what are the key ideas for the functionalist and conflict theories; (2) what argument (for example, the role of the government and policies) you wish to make based on each theory; (3) what evidence will support your argument; (4) the strengths and limitations of each theory in terms of explaining the issue of the rich getting richer in our society. Your essay should be two-pages long, typed, and double-spaced. Please avoid quotations altogether and use your own words. Make sure to include your citations in your body paragraphs by using APA style (Korgen and White 2015, p. 14) and also list your reference at the end of your paper to avoid plagiarism.
