Success Criteria:

-Is able to explore degree of resonance with the speaker through the contents and delivery of her speech.

-Is able to apply literary/rhetorical devices and evidentiary techniques to discuss the impact of the speech on self.

-Is able to personally connect to and critically reflect on ideas raised in the speech.

-Is able to apply ideas from the speech externally to formulate insights of others in society.

-Is able to write two fully-developed paragraphs with relevance, specificity and substance (depth), and is not just vaguely, choppily and briefly answering sub-questions.

-Revises and edits to ensure that paragraphs are well-organized, unified and that sentences flow smoothly with appropriate transitions, diction, punctuation and grammar.
