Assignment: Survey Research Proposal Outline
1. What is that you want to understand, what is your research problem (one paragraph)
2. Define population you want to study
3. Define Constructs and corresponding Measurements
In this section you need to define your constructs that you will include in your survey. You need to discuss a source of scale (who developed the scale) and how it has been used in the past and what it measures, how it performs.

At least one of the constructs needs to have multiple dimensions (example of multidimensional constructs: perceived justice, empowerment, emotional solidarity, place attachment)
4. Proposed model
You need to propose and draw a model that you intend to test via Structural Equation Modeling (see articles, videos) and hypothesize how different constructs relate to one another. It needs to make sense and be based on recognition of literature. You will write hypotheses (see articles for how to formulate them) that result from your morel (H1 … Hn)
5. survey instrument design – ready to implement (3 constructs you intend to measure included in your model + demographic questions)
6. Propose steps to validate scales in your survey instrument and ensure scales are reliable in the specific context
