What is your career aspiration?
Through out the years of product reviewing and based on my passion on sports product, makes me feel like make futuristic and innovative products is my ultimate goal. I have always dream to lead to produce and leading innovating new sports product, or making existing product, design or concept to another level. As my career aspiration, here is my pathway of how will I achieve this ultimate goal.
Marginal success
As soon as I walk in to this professional field, I would work from the bottom, learn things from scratches. Always start from those little things to be detail oriented, make sure I understand every basic components so later on in my career i would be able to understand everything about the projects, the designs, and the reasons behind those decisions. And at this part of my career, I wish to finish some good projects, make more good products, and most importantly is to experience the work process, and learn from the industry expert in the company, as they already have years and years of grinding in the industry. Even though I always believe that “Hands on experience is my best teacher”, but also the experience that they could bring is to me could be unimaginable and remarkable.
2. Executive position
After years of learning and experiencing in this industry, at this stage, I would looking more towards the step from a follower to a leader. By the time I would already have multiple successful products, also have a general idea of product creation and producing process. It’s the time to start to lead some small programs and put my thoughts and concepts in use of an existing program. As I always believe that there are no bad products, they are just details or little changes behind to become a successful product. My job would be finding those products and innovate from them. Also start to find those biggest problem in modern world of sports product, and in all kinds of sports. Creating concepts to work with, and creating a team who have the same artistic and creative mindset, it’s important to have delightful, spiritual and passionate people surround you. Like a team of pirates: Experienced, bold and smart, not afraid to do try out new route even with uncertainties.
3. Owning a business & Earning recognition as an expert in your field
As of this stage I have already accomplished a hand full of creative projects and innovation process. I might start with my own business to address those problems I value the most, and using my existing resources to create a new business. As of now the idea is still to be sustainable as the main focus, but by the time I reached that stage, I believe I will have something new in mind, since I have renovate or build my own theory and having new understanding of the industry through out the years I been working.
