Working memory is a system for temporarily storing and managing information to carry out complex cognitive tasks such as learning, reasoning, and comprehension. For instance, recalling a recipe while you are making a meal is an example of working memory. For this discussion, you will compare and contrast the multicomponent model with the embedded-process model of working memory. Provide one example of each model from your own life that demonstrates how these events have transferred to working memory. Then, describe the process for how the brain moves information from working memory into long-term memory. Have you experienced moments when your working memory failed you? Detail at least one experience that demonstrates this phenomenon. Explain your responses in detail integrating the required course readings and text.
