You need to discuss a small exhibition of 5-6 works of art in NYC, FIT campus, your hometown, etc. that you will curate. You will need to include analyses of your selected works.
Think about having the availability of a gallery space and think as a curator. You may think about this paper as a proposal for an exhibition. Therefore you need to convince whomever that your exhibition and its theme matter today. After you introduce your overall theme, discuss why you think this particular theme is relevant today. Give context. Next, discuss your selected works of art including analyses in respect to your overall theme.
You will also need to think about the order in which you will show your exhibited pieces. The viewer’s experience changes depending on the arrangement. Here you can be creative in terms how you use the space. You may want to think about the kind of relationships you are establishing when arranging these works in a specific way: chronology, conversation, contrast etc.
