Art Appreciation Section 201 Summer 2022 CO
This week you need to find and compare TWO works of art that share a common theme, such as love, anger, family, beauty, childhood, etc. You need to find:
a photograph made with a camera, and
any picture made with a different medium (e.g. painting, drawing, printmaking, graphic design/computer graphic, etc.)
After finding each of these, discuss what the common theme of the works is. Then, discuss which work – the photograph or the other picture – is BETTER at communicating its message. Why?
When you find your photograph, make sure it is an actual photograph and NOT a painting, NOT a work of computer graphics, etc. Please be sure to include images of your chosen works in your post.
