Research Proposal Part 1: Introduction, Review of Literature, Problem Statement, Research Question Big Data Analytics in Supply Chain Management. The rapid involvement of both academics and experts in the application of Big Data Analytics (BDA) to Supply Chain Management (SCM) has called for a review of up-to-date developments in research to develop a new agenda. This review responds to the call by implementing a new classification scheme that gives a full picture of the current literature on where and how BDA has been applied in the SCM context. The classification system is structurally dependent on the method of content analysis. Addressing the four study concerns: 1) In what areas of supply chain management are Big data analytics used? 2) What extent of analytics is BDA used in these SCM areas? 3) What forms of BDA templates are used for SCM? 4) What BDA techniques are used to create these models?
