Assignment Summary
Adobe defines an infographic as “a powerful way of communicating ideas in a visual form.” Infographics still have a central message and supporting evidence but combine visuals with text to both engage and educate.
For this assignment, you will use your argumentative outline from the previous module to create an infographic on whether students should be allowed to use generative AI in college writing courses.
To showcase your talent and efforts, you will save your infographic and use the paperclip icon in the toolbar to attach your work to Discussion Board. While a peer response is not required, I encourage you to see what your classmates have done.
Objectives:
• Read and analyze models (CO 1, CO 3)
• Organize ideas into a coherent argument (CO 2)
• Evaluate and develop arguments(CO 3)
• Use standard grammar in the outline and infographic text (CO 4)
• Employ technology to compose anethical, polished infographic (CO 5)
Your infographic should:
• Clearly state your position ongenerative AI in the writingclassroom (a well-phrased title could help)
• Include at least 3 labeled content sections
• Translate outline content intobullet points or short phrases or sentences, limiting the text when possible

• Use bold headings and consistent fonts and style

While AI may be used to create the infographic template, the ideas and language of the infographic should reflect the student’s voice.
Any use of generative AI (where you create a prompt for the AI) should be documented at the bottom of your submission, to include a quick description of its use and the AI tool used.
Example: “Prompt Description.” Name of AI tool, Date of chat, URL.
